Mangisursuro Inay

Mangisursuro Mike Inay, Grandmaster and founder of Inayan Training Organization (ITO) was a student under Grandmaster Angel Cabales, and Grandmaster Max Sarmiento. Grand master Cabales was the first to teach the Filipino arts in what we know to be a traditional school setting. Prior to opening of his school in Stockton California, training was done exclusively outdoors.  Mangisursuro Inay founded the Inayan System of Eskrima in 1975. Mangisursuro Mike Inay spent his life spreading the art world wide.

In 2000, we lost Mangisursuro Inay. His legacy lives on through successors and the school.  Jason Inay (son of the late Mangisursuro Mike Inay) is the successor to his father, and is now the Grandmaster of  the Inayan system of Eskrima. Under Suro Jason Inay’s guidance, the Inayan Training Organization continues to grow, and we continue to spread the art just as Mangisursuro Mike Inay intended.
